Because humanity no longer has the senses with which, as in ancient times, it can see into the worlds of gods, angels, dwarves and elemental beings, its conception of them relies on theories or has changed into complete denial of the existence of such worlds.

With the deep immersion of the soul into physical matter, the organs of perception for the other worlds have atrophied. However, the lowest point of this development was passed at the end of the 19th century. As a reaction to the new possibilities of recognising the higher entities associated with this, the spiritual brotherhoods published the teachings based on the theosophical core in a new and contemporary form. We have already described the teachings in detail here, focusing on the content that was given specifically for the Western Hemisphere.

Since the world of the gods is also in a state of development and a part of it has taken a liking to the dependence of the human realm, much has been done by this group to keep the state of human feelings and thoughts in ignorance. The core of their actions was to conceal the truth about the transmigration of souls (reincarnation) in the consciousness of man.

The next step was the invention of the one God out of the multiform world of the gods by monotheistic reduction in the time of Echnaton in Egypt. The infinity of the ascending higher worlds of the divine was erased astral-mentally in consciousness.

The dogma of the one-life theory (erasing the truth of reincarnation) was a negative logical addition to the one-God theory.

Many religions of monotheism emerged, which immediately competed for who had the true one God. The many wars and acts of violence in the competition for the right God are a blot on the history of this planet.

A perfidious addition then later appeared in the science of Darwinism, which disparagingly mixed the animal kingdom with the higher soul-marked realm of humanity and devalued man to an instinct-driven predator. In this theory, people found permission to live out their lower selfish goals with full justification. It is not surprising that an economic theory was developed in which the basic principle of Darwinian selection at any price and by any means is central (Hayek and Mises and others).

The current evangelical movement, especially in the USA, takes up these unspiritual foundations and develops the principle of ‘God’-given (displayed) wealth, which thus marks his ‘chosen ones’. This view is supplemented by the mixing with Old Testament principles of a punishing and avenging God. It is deliberately overlooked that the work of Christ was directed against the ‘God of revenge’ of the Old Testament and his self-appointed representatives. The emphasis on Jesus in this religious aberration makes the work of Christ disappear in the false image of a Jesus.

Extreme followers of a Jewish-Old Testament one-god theory openly advocate the principle in their particular religion that only their ‘ethnic group’ has a divine soul and all other people have an animal soul. This completes the circle of misguided views, which could be supplemented by many more aspects of the same roots. Thus, the religious arrogance of being the chosen people is combined with a predatory economic ideology.

In today’s world, in which the manipulated dumbing down of people is once again gaining ground, while at the same time the planet is being destroyed in an exponentially progressive process, i.e. the branch we are sitting on, physically speaking, is being sawn off, our theosophical activities are those of a ‘voice in the wilderness’.
