Including all true esoteric teachings of the East and West in the concept of theosophy, it can be stated that a counterforce can be built up by the users of universal teachings establishing a higher mental connection to the reservoir of powerful energies flowing in from Shamballa and the Spiritual Hierarchy. However, this can only succeed in an inwardly conscious group structure, such as we encourage through our texts.
These are the same energies that are used heartlessly, inhumanly and almost animalistically by the dark lackeys. Thus, groups that possess material wealth and political or religious power are opposed by those who study timeless wisdom but are far too often individualistic and concerned only with their own spiritual advancement (and thus have only a very limited effect).
The blade of the sword of the spirit, which is available to those connected to the light, can only be used if everyone together grasps the hilt of the sword of light and truth. It is futile to attack the darkness directly. It makes sense to visualise and recite inwardly the greeting to the light in the soul of all people with the sword of the spirit, its tip pointing upwards. Everyone can develop their own visualisation. The hilt of the sword offers space for an unlimited number of hands.
The response to current developments must come from the centre of humanity itself; it is a test.
