If we consider the solar logos (Shiva) as an entity in development, just as every human being is in development, the following emerges:
In addition to all the life forms and subtle planets that are all part of his being, planet Earth is particularly noteworthy.
It is difficult for many people (probably for almost all) to understand that on our planet, high spiritual beings exist alongside subhuman substances and beings, and that they are in a constant struggle with each other.
That the earthly planet is such a battleground in the nature of Shiva (the solar Logos) can be seen in many teachings to which we have referred so far.
Fortunately, human senses no longer achieve direct cognitive perception of the subhuman; they only perceive the constantly acting dark impulses emotionally and in simple thinking. Likewise, their senses are untrained for the higher spiritual, subtle currents.
It would be a gain if humanity would regard the planets visible to it as unessential phenomena of its actual vitality. There is a special planet that is animated and lies below the earthly level of visibility, but plays a dominant role in the life of the solar logos. Likewise, there are more highly developed planets in the solar system that are animated and can only be recognised in a subtle way.
For readers who have studied the peculiarities of kundalini in the human being, the analogy to the solar logo (Shiva) will be conceivable. Knowledge can be gained from the following analogy given by the Tibetan master: the relationship between the sun and the earth is like the relationship between the subtle head centre and the subtle centre at the base of the spine.
On the basis of the explanations given so far, Shiva’s path can be approached cognitively. Shiva is an alchemist whose goal is to ‘liberate’ and promote the spiritual content of earthly and subterranean substances. The process is initiated according to plan with the gift of mental knowledge, which is offered to humanity through the mediation of spiritually more highly developed entities. It is therefore a solar-cosmic educational offensive, which is additionally supported by the arts in culture. The last major campaign began with Blavatsky in 1875, was complemented in the West by A. Bailey (and the Tibetan Master D.K.), R. Steiner (the Master Jesus) and H. Roerich (with Mahatma Morya), and is approaching its end.
The impulse goes hand in hand with the counter-reactions of the forces living in the physical substance, which delay and prevent it with inertia and aggressive interventions. The main direction of the attacks can be seen in the predominant use (occupation) by the male part of humanity.
Quote H. Blavatsky: ‘However carefully civilised humanity is protected by its invisible guardians, the Nirmanakayas, it is nevertheless terribly controlled by the traditional adversaries of the Nirmanakayas – the embodied and disembodied “brothers of the shadow” – as a result of its overall karma.’
Despite the resistance, the Logos manages to collect a ‘spiritual yield’ in each of the solar phases and to transfer human units to the ascending path. In total, the numbers may be small, but qualitatively they are valuable for the Logos.
When an impulse, such as the one from 1875, expires, an overshoot of the counterreactions becomes apparent and the life situation of the planet indicates decline, Shiva will decide whether the alchemical process makes more sense under modified conditions on a new planet. There, the transformation process could be more bearable under gradually more subtle conditions. However, this will be done with a division of the human spirit, as already described in another text. For Shiva, the division is not a painful process, but a responsible act of divine reason.
We can describe two paths of possible ascension:
First, the primarily Eastern one, which is supposed to enable a quick transition through highly concentrated alignment of the outer life. It includes the principle of completely letting go of the physical (and in principle also the astral) and radically strives for the goal of deliverance from earthly suffering. We know that this path goes through the planetary heart centre to (subtle) Sirius. The Tibetan Master has provided detailed facts about this in the books with A. Bailey.
The question of the aspired Nirvana and the state of the soul released from earthly suffering leaves questions unanswered when it is known at the same time that there is darkness even at cosmic levels. Ending the wheel of earthly incarnations should not mean overlooking the subsequent embodiments of beings. The Tibetan Master describes in ‘Cosmic Fire’ the various paths after liberation from earthly incarnation.
The popular Eastern idea of salvation falls short in the interpretation of the ignorant masses.
The primarily Western path, on the other hand, can be found in the extensive teachings of R. Steiner (the Master Jesus). There is little methodical information that can contribute to the rapid advancement of the seeker. Rather, it strives for a reconciliation with the external earthly world and attempts to bring about this reconciliation for many people through a more spiritually nourished culture. Although R. Steiner also warns of possible major upheavals on the planet, he remains true to the line of seeking the spiritual in the here and now and thereby healing humanity.
There are some questionable points to be noted, of which only one shall be emphasised. R. Steiner’s self-isolation from the eastern impulse, combined with undisguised criticism of the masters with a stronger eastern orientation, remains incomprehensible. The consequences of this approach are burdensome.
The theosophical impulse of H. P. Blavatsky and the fundamental impulse of Mahatma Morya, together with Helena Roerich, connect the two directions from the perspective of Shamballa, the planetary head centre.
If one assigns the various activities to the planetary centres, then the Rosicrucianism of R. Steiner can be assigned to the throat centre, with a share in the heart centre.
The Tibetan and A. Bailey are clearly aligned with the planetary heart centre.
H.P. Blavatsky and M. with Helena Roerich provide overarching synthetic knowledge that can be assigned to the planetary head centre.
All three impulses try to give humanity spiritual stimuli to prevent the expected crisis of overpopulation and the destruction of nature (up to the destruction / extinction of the whole planet) by changing their way of life, their attitude and way of thinking.
The point in time by which the rethinking should have become visible has been exceeded. About 80 years ago, the Tibetan master named a period of two generations as the turning point. Whether it is a ‘point of no return’ from a physical point of view remains open. Everyone can get an idea of the current world situation.
Nevertheless, any attempt to reverse the downward spiral is the responsibility of those who have spiritual knowledge and deeper insight.
The possibility of action in a subjective group, as given in the target marks, represents a significant activity from an earthly point of view, in order to reverse the process after all by working with the highest subtle forces. Small minds build ridiculous physical survival bunkers and if they are rich, they buy an island or have expensive survival ships built. Great minds know about their spiritual / physical double existence (triple existence) and the little significance of physical death. They intensify their spiritual activities in the shared responsibility for the evolution of the planet and the participation in Shiva’s intentions. A number of them have long since achieved physical liberation, but have renounced complete detachment in order to continue to work (through a remnant of astral connection) and to be able to incarnate (of their own free will). They are the Nirmanakayas mentioned by H. Blavatsky. They know their dark opponents of the subhuman sphere. Tolkien brought the encounter of both in the representation of the clash of Gandalf with one of the Balrogs into the average human reality.
