“Letting go, renouncing, renewing on a higher plane, condensing within the mystery the spiritual gains of many lifetimes.”

At this point, we leave the realm that applies to most people in this mantra.

The path of transformation through sacrifice is reserved for those who have laid the foundations for it over many incarnations. However, this does not refer to a physical foundation or an astral construct, nor is the mental configuration sufficient in itself.

The unconditional will to dare to take the step across the ‘deep abyss’ on a swaying bridge of subtle construction must be present. Renouncing the legacy of previous incarnations in terms of insight and attained ethical maturity is the condition – though whilst retaining the essence of the gain.

The mantra has contributed to the construction of the bridge, and its use, ideally on a daily basis, has outlined the further path in the sense of waymarks.

In the books (in Helena Roerich’s diaries), Mahatma Morya provided one of the rare insights into another planetary life form, in this case that of Venus. This is not the Venus we see through binoculars in our limited, one-dimensional, physical universe, but rather the planetary entity situated on a subtle, higher plane:

“The rays of Venus resemble a green or violet chalice. As we approach, we see spirals of light, filled with bursts of movement. The points of the spiral are directed towards the light and cause the atmosphere to thin. This leads to the purification of the air and constant electrification. This property enables a gentle ascent into the air and renders flying machines superfluous; the same energy eliminates all engines and produces food. There are no animals corresponding to our animals, just as there are no insects. Birds and fish are highly developed and attain indescribable colours and a lightness of structure. Generally, the condition of the bodies corresponds to the degree of astral densification, which is why food – flowers, stems and roots – is taken in via the sense of smell.

Decay in the strict sense does not exist, yet bodies that lose their binding substance disintegrate into air. Formation occurs at a call from the cosmos. The emerging spirit corresponds, in a sense, to our seven-year stage of life. A favourable moment of electrical maxima is chosen for formation, and under the fixed gaze, densification takes place, initiated by the rotation of the spiral of light. The period of condensation is short, about forty years, yet no significant changes take place in the body. The emerging spirit completes its physical development after about five years. Naturally, all life is communal. Many birds understand language and can serve – a sort of flying realm. Creative work aims to tame the oceans, for this element is difficult to control under the influence of electrical waves. Destructive tornadoes, which pile up like gigantic spirals of water, are common. Exceptionally large and deep funnels also pose a danger. Volcanoes and a kind of northern lights are characteristic. Even the deepest darkness is permeated by sparks.”
