37. An Agni Yogi is frugal in everything, not out of avarice, but because he knows the value of the energy that pours from Above. Thus he is frugal both with his own energy and with the energy around him.
The error of men is that they usually suppose energy only in great deeds, and forget that for small deeds much more of the same energy is wasted, which is essentially precious.
Small deeds, as well as small things, hinder life; especially must we beware of dust, which combines with the emanations of things and proves to be a diffuser of that personal energy which should be preserved in a single channel. Thus we shall guard all that can be united with the energies of the Hierarchy.
