An article by Roland Peters and Hannes Vogel (n-tv, 5 October 2026, an extract from the book *The Attack of the Tech Billionaires*) describes the mindset of influential owners of AI companies. We do not name names here, and thus do not give them any credit. The article can be found under the filename ‘Rulers’ in the study materials.

The authors outline an ideology: the unconditional acceleration of technology, an impending superintelligence as a ‘digital god’, and technology as a means of imposing changes without the voters’ consent. Those who think in this way assume that the masses can be influenced, shaped and directed through models, bots and the media. Ultimately, ‘free will’ would be eliminated.

In the foundational text on theosophy, it is precisely this free will that constitutes the contribution of the respective higher form of life towards the anticipated progress within the authorised laboratory of creation – an example of this is planetary evolution (background information in foundational text ID 165).

Anyone who hinders this process in order to subjugate souls using an outdated method is opposing the goal of separation and self-determination that is ingrained in creation. The denial of a higher self, whether planetary or solar, reveals the supposed progress of egotistical science to be a relapse into states that seemed to have been overcome.

Since the planet’s current state is no longer a matter of correcting individual habitats, as was the case in the days of Atlantis, the entire endeavour—initiated by the respective higher life-form—is now affected. The foundational text on Theosophy can be consulted to explain this context, and all the ‘Basics’ sections of the website’s texts form an indispensable foundation.

Horizontal and vertical

AI collects and stores vast amounts of information and can analyse and summarise it by establishing connections. We refer to this as horizontal knowledge. Theosophists, too, require a broad general knowledge base.

Added to this is vertical knowledge. The mantra ‘On the Path to the Centre of Being’ provides a possible vertical guide.

The text ‘In Motion’ provides another example in a different vertical form.

Today we present a further collection of elements which, when explored meditatively, can reveal and open up the vertical path. We do not wish to provide a concrete, descriptive solution, for it must be experienced.

This is the fundamental difference from AI. Inner experience and ‘enlightenment’ are individual matters that cannot be bestowed by any other authority. Yet even naming the following contents is already pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

  1. The aforementioned mantra
  2. The text ‘In Motion’ on the website.
  3. ‘Space is a being’, a remark by H. P. Blavatsky.
  4. The human body consists of around 30 trillion cells.
  5. According to the analysis of images from modern telescopes, there are hundreds of billions to trillions of galaxies in the physically visible universe.
  6. ‘Wings’ grow on the perceiving thought, for a moment or time and again.
  7. The ‘modalities’ described in R. Bandler’s communication science (NLP) are necessary mental operators for the vertical process. There is a connection to the paradoxes in Zen Buddhism.

This study guide provides all thinkers with a few rungs on the vertical ladder. All further texts supplement it. The ladder must be climbed by oneself; yet the ‘flight’ accompanies the moment of realisation and requires no rungs.
