The mechanistic worldview disrupts the world\u2019s balance, as machines alienate people from the true \u201cart of thinking.\u201d The sources therefore call for an end to this misguided path: \u201cEnough with the robots! The heart is necessary for the balance of the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
While achievements such as universal electrification are recognized as blessings of civilization, the artificial oversaturation of space poses an enormous danger, as people approach these energies in a one-sided manner and without spiritual awareness.<\/p>\n\n

The art of thinking is stifled by an overload of superfluous and harmful information.<\/p>\n\n
Without the art of thinking, there can be no intellectual growth.<\/p>\n\n

Being nothing on the subtle plane results in the loss, in this earthly existence, of the essence of free will and self-assertion in the face of the dark forces.<\/p>\n\n
Once the Dark Ones have subjugated nearly all of humanity, a new attempt will follow, after the previous one was interrupted. This connection is described in the foundational text on theosophy.<\/p>\n\n
Nevertheless, all the teachings to date suggest that a seamless transition into an era of spiritual progress is still possible for humanity.<\/p>\n\n
\u201cPeace must reign for a full two generations, remaining undisturbed because it is secured and protected by the armies of the Lord. If, at the end of this period, the work of education and instruction has been carried out appropriately, wisely, and reasonably, these armies may rest from their labors; the sword may be turned into a plowshare.
